Judith A. Johnson

Judith A. Johnson, 81 of Church Hill, passed away early Thursday morning, November 2, 2023. She was born in Middlesboro, KY on March 1, 1942 to the late Thrasher “Bud” and Edith Turner. She lived in Middlesboro until the age of 12, when her parents moved to Monroe, MI for work. Judy was saved as a young girl and was currently a member of Boones Creek Baptist Church. She loved bluegrass gospel and old country music.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell W. Johnson; three brothers, James, Mitch and Frank; one sister, Shelby Jean Fleeman.

She is survived by three children, Debbie Webber (Tom), Charles “Jay” Cole (Jonalie), Connie Moffitt (Stewart); five grandchildren, Austen Webber, Cassie Moffitt, Abbie Moffitt, Jimalyn Egonio, Jalyne Cole; one brother, John Guy Turner; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Per her wishes there will be no services, but family will receive friends at her residence on Sunday, November 5, 2023 between 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at 507 Hickory Hills Rd., Church Hill.
