Judy Edwards, 57, Kingsport, passed away peacefully at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
Judy was born in Kingsport where she had lived her entire life. Judy was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Edwards and sister, Sally Edwards.
Survivors include three children, Tonya Samples and husband Billy, Joshua Stubblefield and Rachel Evans, all of Kingsport; two grandsons, Matthew Hinkle and Keith Samples, Jr.; four brothers, Bill Edwards of Indiana, Kenneth Edwards, Kermit "Sam" Edwards and James Edwards, all of Kingsport; several nieces and one nephew.
Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Charity Chapel Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow visitation with Pastor Mike Owens.
