Judy Carolyn Hodges Shadden

Judy Carolyn Hodges Shadden, age 83, of Gray, Tennessee, died Saturday night, June 22, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Johnson City, she resided in Sullivan Count and Gray most of her life. Judy graduated from Sulphur Springs High School and Steed College. She worked for Mason Dixon Truck Lines and various retail jobs. Judy enjoyed needle work, quilting and reading. She was a member of Hales Chapel Christian Church. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Stella Hodges; grandparents, Floyd and Roxie Stafford and Roscoe and Maude Hodges.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Shadden; special friend, Vickie Bradford of Russellville, Ohio; and several cousins.

Judy will be entombed at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park and a celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
