Judy Lavinder

Judy Evelyn Lavinder's spirit left her physical body to be with God on Friday, October 7, 2016. She was a Respiratory Therapist and was very active in her church. She enjoyed working with the ladies of the church, motorcycle riding, motocross races and travel.

She is survived by her soulmate, Jerry B. Lavinder; sons, Jonnie L. Darnell, Jr. and wife Sandi of Colonial Heights, and Jeffrey W. Darnell of W. Lake Village, CA; daughter, Deanna L Bishop of Kingsport; son, Jerry Shane Lavinder and wife Amber of Mt. Carmel; grandson, Tyler Bishop; and granddaughter, Zoey Lavinder.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Tim Owen officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
