Judy Kate Salyer

Judy Kate Salyer, 64, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 following a short period of declining health. She worked as a purchasing agent for Fluor Daniel/Ameco Construction. Judy was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Hazel Baines.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Letisha Summey and husband, Chad; son, Joey Salyer and wife, Alice; grandchild, Hailey; step-grandchildren, Sylvia and Greta; sister, Rita Rogers; brother, Allen Baines and wife, Teresa; other siblings, Barbara Carter and Kenny Baines; best friend, Betty Price and several other good friends; and several nephews, several great-nieces and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21st from 3-5:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 22nd at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Fall Branch with Rev. Vic Wallace officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends.

Flowers are welcome but donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
