Julia Marie Fee Parke

Julia Marie Fee Parke, currently living in Jonesville, Virginia, died on December 22, 2013, from complications following a fall in her home. She was born on June 17, 1935 in Rose Hill, Virginia. After graduation in 1955 from Flatwoods High School in Jonesville, she moved to Florida, where she resided for approximately 45 years. While there she met and married John Parke on March 19, 1975 until his death on December 4, 2008. She retired from working for the State of Florida and moved with her husband to Ewing, Virginia in 1997. Judy enjoyed golfing and gardening and had been a member of Cedar Hill Christian Church since 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Almeda and G.W. Fee, and brothers, Carl, Jack and Cleo.

Judy is survived by brothers, Junior and Don of Rose Hill, Virginia; sister, Freda Fletcher of Hanceville, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cedar Hill Christian Church, Jonesville, VA, on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Myers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, her desire was for donations to be made to Cedar Hill Christian Church, 1049 Cedar Hill Christian Church Rd. c/o JoAnn Lamb, treasurer, Jonesville, VA 24263-0115.
