Kasi Miranda Salyer Clifton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kasi Miranda Salyer Clifton.  She died on May 3, 2020 in Kingsport, TN, a week before her 40th birthday.

Kasi is survived by her parents, Jerry and Connie Salyer, her four children, Caleb, Emma, Mason, and Aden, her siblings Shannon and Jeremy, her grandmother, Bonnie Jane Epps, and many other relatives across the country.  She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Calvin Carl Epps and paternal grandparents, James Claude Salyer and Ruby Madge Salyer.

Kasi was born on May 10, 1980 in Kingsport, TN. She graduated from Sullivan North High School in 1998, and East Tennessee State University with a degree in Construction Technology, Engineering, and Management.  She worked in Los Angeles, CA and Knoxville, TN on large commercial construction projects before she fell in love with being a mother.  Kasi also loved the outdoors and spent her free time camping, fishing, and four-wheeling.  She was a wonderful cook and quick to sing (when she heard a song she liked).

Private services were held this week with family at Hamlett-Dobson funeral home.
