Kat ?Big?n? Bellamy, 50, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday March 23, 2010.
She worked as a CNA at several area nursing homes as well as in home care. Kat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything else in the world. She enjoyed spending her time doing things for everybody else. She always put everyone before herself, with patience and generosity that was never ending. Her wisdom and humor enriched all those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Williams; maternal grandmother, Thelma Taylor; paternal grandparents, Jack and Juanita Williams; niece, Victoria McGuire; and sister-in-law, Wonda Williams.
Surviving are her husband, John Bellamy; son, Jack Williams and fiancée, Heather Dye, three daughters, Jillary Williams and fiancé, Carlos Martin, Danielle Williams-Higgins, and Amanda Bellamy;, all of Kingsport; six grandchildren, Jack Williams, Jr, Abigail Williams, Justus Higgins, Bryce Higgins, Aleiya Williams and Carlos Trustin Martin; four sisters, Shamrock McClellan, Penny Smallwood and husband, Anderson, both of Kingsport, Renea Russell, Pontotoc, Mississippi, Bobbie Parsons and husband, Curtis, Greeneville; one brother, Charles Edward Williams, II, Kingsport; Special Aunt, Vicky Slemp; several nieces and nephews; and a companion, James McConnell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Williams, II, Carlos Martin, Weaver Williams, Brent Crawford, Jack Williams, Markus Monboe, Curtis Parsons and Terry McClellan.
