Kate E. Stout

Kate E. Stout, 79, Jonesborough, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Scott County, VA, she had resided most of her life in Washington County, TN. She was a member of Life Line Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Stout, parents, four brothers and one sister.

Kate is survived by one daughter, Joyce Bowers and husband David of Bluff City; three sons, Junior Stout and wife Kathy of Kingsport, William "Bo" Stout and wife Debbie of Jonesborough, Harold Stout and wife Pat of Kingsport; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Kinsler of Kingsport; two brothers, Roy Hall and Orville Osborne and wife Lucille, both of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Tim Cox of Jonesborough.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the home of Tommy and Christy Stout.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. Services will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Glenn McCracken officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, October 9th at 2:00 pm at the Stout Family Cemetery in Jonesborough, TN. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends.
