Kathleen H. Henry, 78, Kingsport, died Friday morning, July 20, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Sullivan County where she resided all of her life. Kathleen was a homemaker and a member of The Way Home Holiness Church.
Her husband, Eugene Henry preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Ritz, Kingsport; two sons, David Henry and wife Connie of the home, Steven Henry and wife Bobbie, Church Hill; seven grandchildren, Keith Henry and wife Wanda, Timothy Henry, April Garrett and husband Kenny, Nikki Barnet, Misti Morris and husband Jim, Stephanie Suthers and husband Travis, and Christina Henry; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Hill, Kingsport; one brother, Sonny Hicks, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport or any time at the home of her sons, Steven Henry, 211 Cold Comfort Road, Church Hill or David Henry, 417 Barnett Drive, Lot 17, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Charles L. Mowdy officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Walnut Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
