Kathleen Jeffers

Kathleen Jeffers, 84, of Kingsport, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Hospice House in Bristol. She retired after 25 years from HVCH dietary department. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Haskell Jeffers; parents, Clarence and Cora Mae Arnold; son, Gary Jeffers; granddaughter, Whitney Jeffers; grandson, Leon Jeffers, Jr.; sister, Barbra Ison; and brother, Billy Arnold.

Kathleen is survived by sons, Leon Jeffers and wife, Betty, Rocky Jeffers and wife, Janice, Larry Jeffers and wife, Deb, Terry Jeffers and wife, Tina, and Michael Jeffers and wife, Page; daughters, Darlene Shoemaker and Diane Kindle; daughter-in-law, Deborah Jeffers; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Paul Arnold; sisters, Dorothy Tyndal and Mary Kate Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22nd from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing to go in procession should meet at the funeral home at 1:00 pm

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael Jeffers, Scottie Jeffers, Jeremie Jeffers, Justin Jeffers, Preston Jeffers and Jordan Jeffers.
