Kathy Lynn Steadman

Kathy Lynn Morelock Steadman, 61, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following an extended illness. She was a graduate of Sullivan High School and had retired from Tennessee Eastman. Kathy attended Cornerstone Church in Fall Branch. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael James Steadman and Blandon Kane Steadman; father, Trammell Morelock; sister, Joan Crawford; in-laws, Harvey and Mescal Steadman; brother-in-law, Keith Steadman; sister-in-law, Teresa Harper; and niece, Mescal Irene Harper.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Steadman of Fall Branch; mother, Anna Mae Morelock of Kingsport; niece, Pam Shade and husband, Ted and their son, Grayson of Colorado; nephew, Nick Crawford and wife, Erin and their children Ava and Gavin of London, England; brother-in-law, Jerry Crawford, Kingsport; and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harold Morelock and Rev. Vic Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery of Fall Branch.

Pallbearers will be Roger McAmis, Nathan Mullenix, Adam Mullenix, Brandon Mullenix, Nathan Light, David Monk and Jackie Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Daugherty, Lynn Steadman and Jerry Crawford.
