On February 20th 2019 Keith Bartlett, my best friend, soulmate and loving husband, crossed over to be with the Lord. Keith was an avid outdoors man and author, writing a successful book, "The Weekend Angler's Guide to Good Fishing" and successful blog. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and attended Fairmont State in Fairmont WV.
Before fulfilling his passion of authoring his book and blog, Keith had an extensive 33 year career in the glass industry with AGC traveling to many areas of the country all the while following his passion of hunting and fishing, and sharing his love of the outdoors with everyone he came in contact with.
Keith was a positive influence to many persons from every age and walk of life forging many lifelong friendships. Always smiling, always laughing, he inspired many people with his positive vibes. He was the type of friend that everybody wishes they had. You couldn't ask for a more trusting and loyal person. Anytime someone was in a bind he was always there to help out in any way he could, even if it was just to listen and give advice. You could always depend on him to keep his word and do what he said he was going to do. Many people feel they owe so much to Keith and will always be thankful that he came into their lives when needed the most.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Gail Bartlett and Mary Alice Ervin Schultz of Bridgeport, WV and daughter, Rebecca Jane Bartlett.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Bartlett; son, Eric Bartlett and wife, Heather of Clarksburg, VW; grandchildren, Allyson Rebecca and Cody Michael; stepmother, Frieda Bartlett of Bridgeport, WV; brother, Stacy Bartlett and wife, Dr. Robin Myers-Bartlett of Taylor Mill, KY and their children, niece, Morgan Lynn and nephew, Schaffer Scott; sister, Leslie Davis and husband, Rodger of San Angelo, TX and their children, niece, Martha Erambert and her daughter, grand-niece, Bailey Haigler; and Godson, Graham and God-daughter Erin Barnes of Kingsport, TN.
