Kelly Allison Ingle Castle, 21, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 28, 2009, after a courageous five month battle with cancer.
Kelly graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2007. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was very active in the youth group and was a teacher for the 2 year old class. She had a great love for her dog, Petey.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leonard Ryans on January 13, 2006 and Hubert Castle on December 26, 2003.
Kelly is survived by her loving parents, Shirley and David Castle and her caregivers through all she had to go through and battle with along her journey. She is also survived by her second mother, Cpl. Darla Anderson; maternal grandmother, Jeannette Ryans of Kingsport; paternal grandmother, Selva Castle of Kingsport; sisters, Latoya Necessary of Johnson City and Jessica Ingle of Church Hill; aunts, Angela Akins of Kingsport, Glenda Jones of Kingsport, Doris Castle of Blountville, and Rose Jarrett of England; uncles, James Jarrett of England, William Jarrett of Kingsport, and Scott Wolfe of Virginia; cousins, Sidney Akins, Kris Jones, and Chris Lovelace, all of Kingsport; Chris and Shasta Jarrett of Sevierville, TN; special cousin, Ashley Jones of Kingsport; stepmother, Jorita Ingle of Church Hill; very special friends, Charles and Becky Hurd, Amanda Hall, Jessica Shaffer, Jessica Serena, Brandy and Katelyn Dettor, Ron Zimmerman, Mitzy Wade and Bo Swinney.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Cecil Sturgill, Dr. Millard Porter, Bro. Rob Fleming and Bro. Phil Stevens will be officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Sidney Akins, Kris Jones, Robbie Davenport, Doug Overbay, Frankie Robinson, Josh Hilliard, Lee Gragg, and Chris Lovelace. Honorary pallbearers will be the Tabernacle Baptist Youth Group.
Music will be provided by The Almost Home Quartet and Lee Gragg.
