Kenneth G. Johnson, Sr
Kenneth Johnson, Sr., 73, Kingsport, passed away Saturday August 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was an encouraging man that loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Johnson; parents; and five brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Ellen Johnson, Kingsport; daughter, Deborah Sue Johnson, Kingsport; sons, Kenneth G. Johnson, Jr., Kingsport, and Michael Johnson, Nashville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Johnson, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. with Charlie Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow Gunnings Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
