Kenneth "Bud" Ramey

Kenneth “Bud” Ramey, 64, of Gate City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a retired carpenter. Bud was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors and old cars.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Whitney Ramey; stepson, Jeremy Falin; and parents, Theodore and Nancy Ramey.

Bud is survived by his wife, Tina Ramey; son, Justin Ramey and wife Kristen; two granddaughters, Penelope and Bonnie Ramey; one sister, Bessie Caldwell; two brothers, Anthony Ramey and Chris Ramey and wife Alice; special aunt, Norma Jean Gray; two uncles, Conley Ramey and wife Helen, and Howard Ramey and wife Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Randy Sims officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
