Kenny Hayes

Kenny Hayes, 26, Limestone, went to be with the Lord and his Nana and Papaw on Monday, February 2, 2015 at his home. Born in Johnson City, he had resided most of his life in Limestone. Kenny was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School class of 2006 and was the owner of Hayes Intermountain Heating and Cooling. Kenny was an avid outdoorsman and had a great love for farming, hunting, fishing and animals. He had a special love for all children. Kenny will always be remembered for having a kindness and an honest love and spirit.

He was preceded in death by his Nana and Papaw, Willa Dean and Buster Hayes.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Megan Hayes of Limestone; parents, Duane and Lisa Hayes of Limestone; sister, Shea Hayes of Limestone; grandparents, Willie and Jenny Stone of Jonesborough; mother and father-in-law, Gary and Kathy Sanders of Gray; brother-in-law, Matthew Kwiatkowski of Roan Mountain; great-grandmother, Azlee Wedding of Chuckey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Ronnie Baxter and Rev. Richard Bowers officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Union Temple United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Kwiatkowski, Kary Gentry, Cary DeWitt, Daniel Brant, Grant Sutherland, Kevin Stone, Matthew Hayes and Kenny Hartman. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Osborne, David Jessie, Mike Jessie and Ben DeWitt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
