Kim Hicks, 49, Fall Branch, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Indian Path Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.

Kim was a 1987 graduate of Sullivan North High School and also from Northeast State with an A.A.S. degree. Kim was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She worked as a surgical tech. at Johnson City Medical Center and Indian Path Medical Center. She also worked as a substitute teacher and volunteer at Fall Branch School where she touched the lives of many students and teachers.

Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Tracy Hicks, daughter Makayla Hicks, son Douglas Hicks, parents Beth and Bobby Westbrook and Mark and Glenda Melton; sister, Wendy Clow and husband Scott; brother, Danny Melton and wife Amy; step-sister, Camill Snow; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday (July 17, 2018) from 4-7:00 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday (July 18, 2018) at 2:00 p.m. at Logans Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Pate officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fall Branch Fire Department, 106 Ruritan Road, Fall Branch, TN 37656.

The Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes is serving the family of Kim Hicks.
