Kimberly A. Coffey

Kimberly Coffey, age 49, of Mount Carmel, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her residence. Born in San Diego, CA on April 30, 1973, a daughter of Patricia Slocum and Dr. Carl Slocum of Kingsport. She has resided in this area most of her life. Kimberly had attended Sullivan South High School before going to Boarding School. She married Rob Coffey on December 31, 2021 in Church Hill. Kimberly was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, stepmom, grandmother, sister and friend who was a free spirit who loved to live day to day, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Slocum.

Survivors include her husband, Rob Coffey; daughter-in-law, Savannah Coffey of Kingsport; stepson, Dylan Coffey of Kingsport; her father, Dr. Carl Slocum of Kingsport; brother, Keith Slocum and family of Nashville; her pets, Molly, Cobi, and Dory

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating.
