Kimberly Marie Quillen, 21, of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 6, 2007, at her home.
She was born in Kingsport where she had lived all her life. Kim worked as a cook at several area assisted living facilities. She loved the outdoors and anything pertaining to it. She also loved to draw and loved her nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Lowery Rex Moorefield; her paternal grandfather, Isaac Fred Quillen; her paternal grandmother, Dora Lee McNutt; a nephew, Thomas Wayne Adams III; and a niece, Gracie Ann McCloud.
Surviving are her parents, Roger and Tina Quillen, Kingsport; two sisters, Valerie Eidson and husband, Billy, Kingsport, Diana McCloud and husband, Stanley, Church Hill; nieces and nephews, William, Hannah, Kayla, Noah, Caleb, and Matthew Eidson, and Stanley ?Peanut? McCloud III; maternal grandmother, Debbie Moorefield, Kingsport; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rodger Castle Sr. and Rev. Glenn Hicks officiating. Singing will be provided by Donna Hicks.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Holston View Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
