Laremy Lynn Varney

Laremy Lynn Varney, 25, of Church Hill, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at his home.

He was born on March 8, 1988 in Kingsport, the son of Dave and Janet Dunn Varney. Laremy's hobbies were working on cars and playing video games.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Varney; his maternal grandfather, Frank Dunn; and paternal grandfather, Elmer Varney.

Laremy is survived by his father and mother, James David and Janet Dunn Varney; two brothers, Jason Varney and wife Christy of Gate City, VA and Gabriel Varney and wife Joanna of Kingsport.

Laremy is also survived by three nephews, Braedon, Chandler, and Malachi Varney; two nieces, Jillian and Chloe Varney; several cousins; three uncles, Douglas and Teresa Varney, Donald and Mary Varney, and Aaron and Jena Bowles; two aunts, Melissa and Jackie Hilton and Tammy and Douglas Gott; his maternal grandmother, Marlene Dunn of Kingsport; and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Varney of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday July 2nd at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Laremy's uncle, Rev. Jackie Hilton bringing the message.

It was Laremy's wishes to be cremated following the service.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Varney family at 6742 West Carters Valley Road, Lot 8, Church Hill, TN 37642 to help with funeral expenses.
