Larry "Frog" Nester

Larry “Frog” Nester, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and had retired from General Shale Brick. Larry was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid roller skater, bowler, fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Glenda Nester; two sons, Tim Nester, and Joey Nester and wife April; beloved granddaughter, Hallee Nester; very special great-nephew, Ross Allen Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be conducted on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A eulogy will be provided by Gary Holland.

Larry’s final wishes were to be cremated.
