Laura Alice Johnson Culbertson
Laura Alice Johnson Culbertson, 92, died early Thursday morning, September 24, 2009, at Asbury Place, Kingsport. Born in Hawkins County, she lived in Kingsport most of her life. Until the decline of her health she was an active member of Litz Manor Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson "Bob" Culbertson, and a daughter, Charlotte Culbertson.
She is survived by a son, R. Wayne Culbertson, and wife Carolyne Thomas Culbertson, Kingsport; grandson Gregory Thomas Parnell, Atlanta. GA; and granddaughter Susannah Caroline Culbertson, Nashville, TN.
A graveside remembrance service for family and friends will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with Douglas. S. Tweed officiating at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
