Laura S. Duncan

Laura S. Duncan, 45, of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident. Laura graduated from Sullivan North High School in 1986. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Laura was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Duncan, paternal grandfather, James Duncan and maternal grandmother, Susan Hicks.

Laura is survived by her sons, Austin Duncan and Andrew Kilgore of Kingsport; daughter, Amanda Kilgore of Kingsport; mother, Sandra Jean Duncan of Kingsport; biological father, Jay Raleigh of Kingsport; sisters, Crystal Arnold and husband, Josh, Tanya Quillen and husband, Justin all of Kingsport; brother, Michael Duncan of Kingsport; grandmother, Nellie Duncan of Church Hill; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and best friends Christie Qualls and Tammy Summey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Memorial services will follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Will Shewey officiating.
