Laura Jane Ellen Chapman

Jane Chapman, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Piney Flats on March 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elsie Chapman. Jane has resided in this area most of her life and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Ms. Chapmen was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Ketron and grandson, Adam Ketron. 

She is survived by her children; Jimmy Ketron (Cathy), Maryville, TN, Teresa Horton (Zack), Bluff City, Paige Keplinger (Chuck), Jonesborough, TN, Graig Jackson and Louvenia Jackson of the home; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Chapman (Vicki) of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, in the Garden of Solomon located in Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, TN. Pastor Dwayne Locklear will officiate the service. Those attending the service are asked to assemble by 10:45 a.m.
