Lauren Dale Good, 19, of Blountville passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Niswonger Children's Hospital. She was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School where she was active in the color guard with the band. Currently she was studying at ETSU where she majored in exercise science with her goal to be an occupational therapist. Lauren was a member of Oakwood Forest Christian Church. She loved the Indianapolis Colts, was a huge Peyton Manning fan and loved her many cats.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jean and Don Good.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Daniel and Rebecca Good of Blountville; brother, Brad Good of Blountville; maternal grandparents, Dail and Ruth Rodgers; aunts and uncles, David and Maryann Good, Donna and Dr. Larry Reid, Patsy and Jerry Ford, Peggy and Gene Lester, Margaret and Jack Moore; several cousins and her friends at ETSU.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Brad Jones officiating. Private graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Hite, Josh Stanley, Cameron Hite, Courtney Ford, and Chase Garner.
Those desiring may make memorials to the St. Jude Affiliate, Niswonger Children's Hospital, 400 N. State of Franklin Road, Johnson City TN 37604.
