Leon B. Wolford, 70, Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Maggie Runyon, father, Omer Wolford, stepfather, Dewey Runyon, and sisters, Ann and Ruby.
Leon is survived by his wife, Marilyn Amato Wolford, children, Jacklyn and Michael Wolford, brother, Bronson Wolford, and half-brothers, CD Wolford and Willie Wolford.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-3:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm with Father Mike Nolan officiating.
An inurnment service will follow at St. Dominic Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Rd., Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
