Leslie Leon Stallard, Sr., 50, Kingsport, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007, at his home.
He was born January 16, 1957, in Kingsport to the late Macel and Beatrice Stallard, where he had lived most of his life. Leslie was a self-employed insulator and paint contractor.
Preceding him in death were his mother and father, Macel and Beatrice Richie Stallard; a sister, Jean Guy; and a brother, Glenn ?Butch? Stallard.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Stallard; two sons, Leslie L. Stallard Jr, Shane D. Stallard and wife, Shanna; grandchildren, Mikey and Peyton Stallard, Kaine and Rhiannon Stallard, all of Kingsport; one sister, Mrs. Melvin Tiny Warren, Charlotte, NC; four brothers, Jim Stallard and wife, Pat, Cecil Stallard and wife, Penny, Larry Stallard and wife, Lily, Ray Stallard and wife, Lucille, all of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or anytime at the home of his son Shane. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Peters officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sherril Larkins, Dusty Dykes, Brad McMurray, Josh Hash, Harold Larkins, and Joey Byrd.
