Leyno Rhoton Stephenson

Leyno Rhoton Stephenson, 96, of Kingsport, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Hawkins County and had resided most her life in Kingsport. She had worked at the Kingsport Press for 28 years in the accounting department. Leyno was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stephenson; parents, Lloyd and Myrtle Taylor Rhoton; three sisters, Lochiel Wilson, Sylvia Jo Carter, and Irene Orfanides; two brothers, Gordell (Luke) Rhoton and Orbin Rhoton.

Leyno is survived by two brothers, Orville Odell Rhoton, Alvin Glen Rhoten; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Green officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
