Lilburn Harding Addington
Lilburn Addington, 94, of Kingsport, passed away December 6, 2014.
He retired from Tennessee Eastman Chemical Company, February 1980 after 38 years of working in the acid division. He was a member of the Kingsport Senior Citizen Club. Lilburn also served in the United States Air Force during World War II.
Lilburn is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Addington, his parents: Joshua and Pearl Addington; sister: Arletta Broadwater; Brothers: Sylvan, Theldon, Harold, Hurbert, and Paul R. Addington.
He is survived by his brother, Karl Addington; nephew, Steven Addington; great-nephew, Vincent Addington.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at Holston View Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
