Lillian Pearl Jessee

Lillian Pearl Jessee, 94, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2008, three days before her 95th birthday.

She was born in Carter County and had resided in the Kingsport area most of her life. Mrs. Jessee was a member of Faithful Ministry Church Primitive Baptist.

Preceding her in death were her loving husband, Edgar Jessee; three daughters, Ida Mae Jessee, Violet Robinson, and Paralee Bernard; two sisters; and three brothers.

Surviving are one son, Linzy Jessee and wife, Robin of Kingsport; a daughter, Annie Jessee of Kingsport; a son-in-law, Charles Bernard of Kingsport; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Elder David Moody, Rev. Kelly Dykes, and Elder Charles Bernard officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
