Linda Jane Bledsoe, 53, Milton Court, Kingsport, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, February 24, 2007, at her home.
She was born in Kingsport, where she had lived her entire life, and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and East Tennessee State University. Linda had taught at Cherokee High School in Rogersville, was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, and was a doll collector. She loved animals including her Yorkie named Prissy which she greatly loved.
Her parents, Hoyt and Jewell Bledsoe, preceded her in death.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Robert ?Bobby? and Patty Bledsoe, Kingsport; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2101 Stadium Drive, Kingsport, TN 37664 or the Kingsport Animal Shelter, 2141 Idle Hour Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
