Linda Lou Pruitt Cole

Linda Lou Pruitt Cole, 69, of Blountville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2010 following a lengthy illness.

A native of South Carolina, Linda lived in Kingsport most of her life. She attended Gunnings Baptist Church and loved to seek out antiques. Linda was the greatest wife any man could ever have. She was the greatest mother any child could ever have.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eva Dillow and twin granddaughters Alyssa and Alexis Cole.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, W.C. Cole; daughter: Denise Pullon and husband Tim of Blountville; sons: Tim Cole and wife Pat of Kingsport, Richard Cole and wife Susan of Kingsport, Daniel Cole and wife Anita of Fall Branch; Grandchildren: Jason Cole and wife Nikki, Erik Cole, Brooke Pullon, Caitlin Cole, Anna Cole, John Michael Cole and Natasha Blakley; sisters: Dorothy Blair of Kingsport, Peggy Pruitt of Kingsport, Mary Johnson and husband Bob of Blountville; brothers: Jack Pruitt of Kingsport and Franklin Pete Pruitt of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Gunnings Baptist Church. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating and her son Tim Cole will give the eulogy.

Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at East Lawn Memorial Park.
