Linda Lunsford Glover

Linda Louise Lunsford Glover, 58, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 21, 2013. Born in Sullivan County, TN on August 15, 1955, a daughter of the late James Lunsford and Ann Fair, she had resided here most of her life. Linda was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Morrison City and retired from Upper East TN Human Development Agency (UETHDA) in 2003, following 15 years of dedicated service. She was an avid supporter of the ASPCA. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Douglas and her maternal grandmother, Susie Blanton.

Linda is survived by her husband of 18 years, Delmer "Lee" Glover of the home; daughters, Crystal Stapleton and boyfriend, Shannon Dingus of Kingsport, and
Carmen Bledsoe-Quillen and husband, Richard Quillen of Kingsport; five grandchildren, Tyler Creech, Dylan Stapleton, Anthony Bledsoe, Zachary Bledsoe and Alexis Quillen; stepfather, Elbert "Pop" Fair of Kingsport; sisters, Donna Lunsford and boyfriend, Dennis Sandidge of Kingsport, Dessa Ratliff of Kingsport and Reba Starnes and husband, Gary of Rye Cove, VA; nieces, Vickie Nelms, Tabatha Johnson, Nikki Nickens and Sissy Short; nephew, Junior Thompson; her very special aunt, Lucille Cheatham of Lexington, NC; many cousins; and her pets, Bud and Lacie Ann.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingport with Pastor Thomas Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Gary Starnes, Jeremy Thompson, Dennis Sandidge, Chris Creech, David Crawford and Larry Stapleton, Jr.
