Linda Joene Hale

Linda Joene Hale, 52, of 1920 Bowater Drive, Kingsport, TN, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.

Linda was born in Kingsport, and graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School in 1973. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Hiltons, VA.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bert Shanks; and sister, Donna Lee Shanks.

Surviving are her mother, Erma Shanks-Wilson; brothers, Greg Shanks and wife Sherry, Bart Shanks and wife Kathy, Brett Shanks and wife Becky.

Also Surviving are her husband, Patrick K. Hale Sr.; one son, Brandon P. Huckaby and wife Latasha; one daughter, Shonna L. Huckaby and fiancé Jason King; step sons, Patrick Hale Jr. and wife Brenda, and Danny Burke; stepdaughters, Angela Hale and husband Travis Sampson, and Carmuletta Hale, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Special Remembrances to life-long friends, Helen Williams and son David Williams, Joe Repass and wife Susan and family, and her church family from Heritage Baptist Church.

Calling hours are from 6-8p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Browder officiating.
