Linda Ann Clark Keen, 63, Kingsport, died Saturday July 18, 2009 from complications of long-term diabetes.
Linda was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor in Sociology and Psychology.
She was a member of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church and was a long-time Sunday school teacher, choir member, and member of the Women's Missionary Union.
Linda was also a volunteer with Clean Kingsport.
She was preceded in death by parents, Henry J. Clark, Jr. and Josephine Harlan Clark.
Surviving are her husband, George Keen, Kingsport; daughter, Kristen Noel Keen, Raleigh, NC; son, Benjamin Patrick Keen and wife, Colleen, Natchitoches, LA; and four granddaughters, Avery, Regan, Charis, and Darby; brother, Henry J. Clark III and wife, Pat, Fairhope, AL; and one niece, Kelly.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. James Royston and Rev. Bob McNew officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Strong, Ken Hopkins, Jim Hunt, Wendell Kirk, David Myers, and Jim Deason.
