Linda Lynch

Linda Lynch, age 72, of Kingsport, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. 

Born and raised in New Jersey, she only recently moved to this area to be closer to her daughter. She loved to work with her hands, making things for her family from blankets to jewelry. Linda enjoyed playing bingo every Thursday. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Robert Charles Lynch, Sr.; son, Robert Charles Lynch, Jr.; sister, Melissa Knelpp; and brother, Thomas Schroder. 

Linda was survived by her daughter, Tina Russell; son, Michael Lynch; grandchildren, Anthony and Erica Lynch, Danielle and Danny Spangler, and Brittany and Christina Shellhart; several great-grandchildren; father, Charles Schroder; brothers, Chucky, Jr., Joseph, and Fredrick Schroder; sister, Louise Landy; several nieces and nephews and her dog, Febee. 

A funeral service will take place at 4:00pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Rev. Will Shewey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
