Linda M. Hyatt

Linda M. Hyatt, 72, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 4:30 pm, at her home. She was born in Galveston, TX and had resided in Kingsport since 1966. Linda was a graduate of Bob Jones University and had worked at Tennessee Eastman for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsport. Linda enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, doing crosswords and growing flowers. She always tried to be a good wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Opal McCormick, and brother, David McCormick.

Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Harold G. Hyatt; son, Jeffrey G. Hyatt of Asheville; grandchildren, Olivia and Asher; and brother, Eldon "Mac" McCormick and wife, Lois of Jay, Florida.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Tails Creek Cemetery in Ellijay, Georgia.
