Linda Lou Crawford McAmis, 61, Kingsport, went to be with her Lord Saturday May 8, 2010 at her home in Greeneville, TN.
She graduated from Sullivan High School in 1967. Linda retired from Five Rivers in Greeneville after 31 years of service.
She was a loving mother, ma-maw, and sister, and a joy to anyone that ever met her.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, David Tobe and Bonnie Lee Crawford; brother, Ross Crawford; and sisters, Bonnie Faye Lamb and Mae Morelock.
Surviving are her loving son and wife, Michael and Christina Morelock; her precious angel and granddaughter, Megan Nicole Morelock; sisters, Edna Light and husband, Donald, Lora Morelock, Hazel Toots Bragg, Ruth Wallen and husband, Kenneth, Thelma Whetsel, Darlene Morelock and husband, Roscoe, Opal Taylor, Kathy Dolen and husband, Roy, and Sue Dolen and husband, Tim, all of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch, or anytime at the home of Tim and Sue Dolen. Services will be at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Louis Meade and Brother Dan Dolen officiating and the Rev. Orville Dolen and Rev. Shelton Meade serving as honorary ministers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Light Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers, which include Daniel Butch Morelock, Sammy Whetsel, Jeff Wallen, Andy Lamb, Todd Dolen, Mickey Taylor, and J.W. Lamb. Nephews will also serve as honorary pallbearers, which will include Allen Morelock, Gary Bragg, Chris Bragg, and Jeff Lamb.
