Linda Barnes Miller

Linda Barnes Miller, 70, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Indian Path Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Fall Branch and was a lifelong resident. She attended Fall Branch school and was a member of Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ida Carberry Barnes; three brothers, Beryl Barnes, Billy Barnes, and Kay Barnes; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Barnes and Freda Barnes; and two brothers-in-law, James Arnold and Kenneth Hite.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bobby Miller; sisters, Juanita Arnold, Norma Hite Dockery and husband, Junior, and Iva Mae Townsend and husband, Joe; brother, Dale Barnes and wife, Carol; sisters-in-law, Reba Barnes and Barbara Bowers and husband, Harold; mother-in-law, Helen Collins; brother-in-law, Suel Collins and wife, Monnie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 3:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Susan Lankford and Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Miller, Bud Willis, Dwayne Barnes, Randy Hite, David Arnold, and Sammy Barnes.
