Linda Hope Noe

Linda Hope Noe, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Born in Kingsport, TN on December 13, 1945, she grew up in Mt. Carmel, TN and graduated in 1964 from Church Hill High School. She attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC and was employed for many years in the medical administration offices of both Holston Valley and Indian Path Hospitals in Kingsport.

Linda enjoyed genealogy research and all things Irish. She achieved her lifelong dream of traveling to Ireland in 2001, along with her Aunt Joyce Cradic (now deceased) and cousin, Mary Cradic.

Linda became a member of West Ridge Presbyterian Church at 12 years of age and participated in the Holston Presbytery Youth Council as a teenager. She later attended Grange Hall Methodist and First Baptist Church Hill.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence D. (John) and Helen Carter Noe and her nephew, Brandon D. Salley.

Linda is survived by her sisters, Karen (Dennis) Rutledge, Leanne (Jimmy) Larkin, and Donna (Carlos) Salley; great-niece, Kora Ann Salley; special cousins, Marsha Fandl, Judi Carter Wood, Janet Cradic, and Mary Cradic, as well as several other cousins and extended family.

Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Gary Gerhardt at the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carmel at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022, with entombment to follow.
