Lisa Gaye Lewis Brown, 59, Jonesborough, TN, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2013.
She was a member of Valley View Methodist Church for years. Lisa enjoyed music, song writing and poetry writing. She loved talking to people and helping others.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Dean Lewis; maternal grandparents, Ernest Lane and Cora Lane; and paternal grandparents, Everett Lewis and Ola Kate Lewis.
She is survived by her son, Corey Brown; mother, Wanda Webb and step-father, Roy Webb; brother, Ricky Lewis (Denise); sisters, Tina Webb (Wayne), Rich, and Becky Webb (Lane) Hughes; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend, Janet McDonald.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Bowen officiating.
The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013, at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Jonesborough.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Rich, Chase Rich, Hunter Rich, Tyler Hatley, Roger Bowen, and Lane Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for funeral expenses may be made to Corey Brown at 634 Harmony Road, Jonesborough, TN, 37659.
