Logan Gray Collier

Logan Gray Collier, 26, of Kingsport passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia and was a graduate of Powell Valley High School in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.  He attended Virginia Intermont College where he was on the baseball team. Logan loved the outdoors, had a big heart for children and animals, and he had a natural talent for drawing and enjoyed the time spent doing so.  Once you met Logan, you would never forget his contagious laugh.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Ward, grandmother, Phyllis Collier, grandfather, Richard Clifton and his “little brother,” Westin Dietz.

 

He is survived by his mother Sandy Tanner and husband Bub; father, Louis Collier Jr. and wife, Shawna; two brothers, Nathan Collier and wife, Nicole, and Chase Collier; one sister, Mckenzie Collier; fiancé, Anna Kelsy; grandparents, Jeane Ward-Goff, Trish Clifton and Louis Collier, Sr.; nieces and nephew, Kaille Adkins, Halle Collier, and Jaxson Lawson; bonus siblings, Nikolas, Anastasia, Olivia and River; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, Tennessee.  The memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Charles Miller officiating.
