Lois East

Lois East, 88, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2018 at the Wexford House. She was a member of Arcadia Presbyterian Church and was a buddy to all of the community children. Lois enjoyed playing games with them. She loved them, and they loved her back.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garvey and Vilas East; stepmother, Ruby Horne East; and brother, Kenneth Paul East, all of whom she assisted in caregiving.

Lois is survived by 2 sisters, Bernice Stafford and Jo Riggs; 3 nephews, Tim Stafford (Janet), David Riggs (Kathy), and Dwight Riggs; 3 nieces, Carla Clifft (Don), Colleen Goins and Vicki Foster; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A special thanks should go to the staff of Wexford House.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Stallard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Arcadia Presbyterian Church, 4616 Bloomingdale Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660.
