Lola Mae Carberry

Lola Mae Carberry, 92, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Life Care Center of Gray. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Carberry, and great-grandson, Will Bowery.

Lola is survived by her niece, who she raised, Margie Hale and husband, David; two grandchildren, Amanda "Mandy" Bowery and husband, Bobby, and Jeremy Hale; great-granddaughter, Savannah Bowery; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12-1:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Hale and Rev. Chuck Grimm officiating. Burial will follow at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
