Lonnell McCamy Crawford

Lonnell McCamy Crawford, 82, Kingsport, was welcomed home in Heaven by her Savior and Lord and a host of family and friends. Born in Greene County, she had lived in this area all of her life. Lonnell was a kind, precious human being, a loving wife, mama, and mamaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moody and Nannie McCamy; her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Crawford; two daughters, Evelyn Douglas and Mae Stapleton; one son, Granville Crawford; two grandsons, Andy Stapleton and John Crawford; and many brothers and sisters.
Lonnell is survived by three daughters, Sandra Crawford and husband, Bruce Gruber, Annie France, and Doris Mumpower and husband, Dwight; eight grandchildren, Rhonda, Steve, Larry, Kathy, Kevin, Dwight Jr., Amber, and Jared; numerous great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Don Douglas and Ken Stapleton; daughter-in-law, Rita Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Arden Taylor officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
