Lonnie "Hoke" Ware

Lonnie “Hoke” Ware, 74, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, and many other family members and friends.

Hoke is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and special caretaker and beloved friend, Bob Crittendon.

Per Hoke’s request, there will be no visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter, 380 Massengill Rd., Blountville, TN 37617.
