Loretta Bausman, 75, Kingsport, passed away after an extended illness on Friday, October 4, 2013.
Originally from Gumboro, Delaware, Loretta moved to Kingsport in 2001 to be closer to family. A member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church, Loretta enjoyed church and Sunday school friends. Loretta retired in 2000 from Federal Civil Service after a career in finance and serving the country as a military wife supporting her husband's Air Force career.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin; her parents, Willie and Ethel Revel; six sisters; and one brother.
Loretta is survived by her two daughters, Barbara and Anita and other family from Delaware and Kansas.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at First Broad Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Mickey Rainwater and Rev. Jack P. Weikel officiating. Visitation will follow.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Kansas.
