Loretta Walters Hinkle

Loretta Walters Hinkle, 77, of Ocala, FL, died on Monday, July 9, 2012 at her home. She was born in Knoxville and had attended Bearden High School. Loretta had resided in Kingsport for many years. She retired from K-Mart, where she had been a sales supervisor for over 15 years. Loretta was a member of Gravely Baptist Church.

She was preceded her son, Robert Marshall Hinkle; parents, Orvil and Sally Walters; one sister; three brothers; and foster son, Jim O'Neil.

Loretta is survived by her son, Buck Edward Waters and daughter-in-law, Mary Jean Garcia, Ocala, FL; sister, Lois Tramel, Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren, Nicholas Edward Waters, Christopher Michael Waters and Gary Marshall Hinkle Hylton and wife, Jenna who are expecting their first child; and several nieces.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16, from 1-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Salley officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
