Loretta Joyce McClellan

On Tuesday, December 17, 2013, our sweet mother, Loretta Joyce McClellan, was called to heaven. She was the most loving, giving, and caring person ever. She loved Bingo, her dog, cat, and best friend Christine McClellan.

Her loving husband, Ronald W. McClellan and son, Jerry Allen McClellan, parents, Lena K. and James Jones, and sister, Shirley Crawford preceded her in death.

Surviving are her loving son, James McClellan, of the home; her only daughter, Julie A. Sims and husband, Gary W. Sims, Kingsport, TN; her grandchildren which she loved more than anything in the world, Zachary James McClellan, and Sarah Grace McClellan; sister, Sondra Meade, all of Kingsport, TN; brothers, Michael Jones and wife Susan, Stanley Jones and wife, Shirley, Fall Branch, TN; several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Jackie McClellan and wife Christine, Kingsport, TN; and sister-in-law, Juanita Hamilton, Kingsport, TN.

Calling hours are Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home with Laton Bently officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Johnny McClellan, Jerry Meade, Stanley Jones, Jared Jones, Josh Meade, and Bud McClellan.
